I design and build learning experiences from the ground up including instructional design, training development, course design and development, curriculum design, media production, web development, and educational products.
I have expertise in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Vyond, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Lightroom), and Microsoft Office.
I started in film and animation, working as a director and video editor while also teaching English as a second language. Somewhere between the editing bay and the classroom, I noticed my students lit up whenever I brought media into a lesson. That spark got me thinking: what if I leaned into that intersection on purpose?
That question sent me back to school, twice. First, a master's in Learning Sciences, where I dove into the theory of how people actually learn. It was fascinating, but I kept craving something more tangible than case studies and research papers. I wanted to build things, not just study them. So I pursued a second master's in Educational Technology, where I got hands on with the technical side of learning design: building products, running data-driven learning analysis, and designing AI-powered solutions to real learning problems.
Today, I design courses, games, and tools that make people say "Ohhh, I get it!" I've built online courses, designed game-based learning experiences, and partnered with faculty and global teams to turn complex ideas into learning that's engaging and accessible. My approach is simple: keep it fun, inclusive, and learner-centered.
I'm a passionate instructional designer at heart. I love watching people learn, I love hearing their feedback, and I never stop learning myself.
Have a role, a project, or a learning problem you're chewing on? I'd love to hear about it.
